Comparison

MyLoanBook vs Trail AI

Trail AI focuses on reconciling commission across lender portals and aggregator statements, with a broad set of lender guides and calculators. MyLoanBook reads the aggregator statement too, but spends most of its effort on what to do with the result: clawback windows, review scheduling, repricing and communications. Both are Australian, both are built around the RCTI; Trail AI leans toward reconciliation breadth, MyLoanBook toward retention depth.

Choose MyLoanBook if

  • You want the retention workflow: who to call, what to reprice, what to send, and whether it worked.
  • You are an LMG-group broker.
  • You want valuation and clawback exposure tracked on the real book, not just in a calculator.

Choose Trail AI if

  • Reconciling lender portals against the aggregator statement is your main pain.
  • Your aggregator is supported by Trail AI and not yet by MyLoanBook.
  • You want the widest set of lender reference material in one place.

Frequently asked questions

Are the calculators on both sites the same?

They cover similar ground. Ours publish the formula and assumptions on each page so you can check the maths; compare the outputs for your book.

Does MyLoanBook check lender portals?

No. It reads the aggregator statement, which is where the commission actually paid to you appears.

Which tool is better if I mostly want reconciliation?

If your main problem is proving that the aggregator paid what the lenders sent, a tool that cross-checks lender portals is built for that. If your main problem is clients leaving and clawbacks landing, the retention workflow matters more than the reconciliation depth.

Do both keep data in Australia?

Both state Australian hosting. MyLoanBook also isolates each broker's data at the database row level so one broker can never see another's clients.
